This is my first blog so it may not sound so formal though it will tackle about the problems encountered by some be you students.
Actually, I'm one of the students who particularly have an hour ride from school. Well, depending on how the jeep would run and the drivers patience of waiting for passengers. I'm don't consider having a boarding house because it is quite impractical for the rate of having a "bhouse" is much higher than my fair in the jeepney.
Going back to the real subject matter, the issue is that some students especially those who travel hours from school to their homes often have the difficulty of going home. This is due to the late schedules given by the university. I, myself have experienced several instances of waiting for about an hour because, for all we know, 7-8 o’clock in the evening is a rush hour for most of the employees because this is the time when they have this what we call “off-time” meaning, the period of working is finally over.
What I really want to point out is that, can the university provide an extra consideration for the student like me who commute for a longer distance than of those who live nearby the institution.
To tell you honestly, I do have a lot of vacant periods that may be filled up by those subjects having the late schedules. This unoccupied period really bothers me because, at some point, I get so bored and exhausted waiting for my next subjects which is 4-5 hours after my last subject. I just really want to ask the one who administers this matter to have an effective yet convenient class schedules for the benefit of every one in the academe.
